Windoes 2003 Server Service will not Start Automatically

I have a program that I MUST run the service as Administrator.  Everything works fine until I reboot oo restart the service.  Then the service fails to start due to logon failuire.  If I simple go into the properties of the service and retype the admin password it works fine.  I know this is somethign stupid but it is driving me nuts.  Any ideas?

What if you change the service to "local service account"?.
did you recently change the administrator password?
if so chane the login settings on the server and re-enter the administrator account as domain\administrator and then the correct password

does it have any dependencies?  If a service has a dependency and the service is starting up before the service it depends on does than you'll have this issue. If this is the case then you can make the service dependent on a different service that starts later on.

I have not changed the administrator password.  It does not depend on any other service.  Again if I just retype the password it appears to be ok.  Everytime I do type the password it says "The account administrator has been granted the Log On As Service Right".  It says that every time which leads me to believe that it is wiping the right out on reboot.
