I have 5 server all Microsoft 2003.

Server 1
File Server  Backup Domain Controller
Role:File Sharing, Mapped Drives, File Storage and Fax Server

Server 2
Database Sever
Role: MSQL 2005

Server 3
Domain Controller, DHCP Server, DNS
Role: Accounting Software application Server, exchange server

Server 4
Webserver
Role:E-commerce and Blackberry Mobile Phone Database Access Server

Server 5
Terminal Server
Role: Remote Desktop Users

I might want to build a seperate server as a stand alon MS Exchange server. All my servers have windows 2003 Retail Box versions. I might want to wipe an existing server and use the Windows 2003 server license for the new server and replace the old server using linux.

Is this possible and which server would you replace with Linux and which version of LINUX would you suggest to use? I know nothing about linux accept that its cheap.
