Thanks irudyk for that - much appreciated.  The problem I have now is that Word doesn't display all the PDF pages - it just displays the first page of the PDF.  I understand that if you double-click on the PDF image, it will open up the rest of the PDF file in the PDF viewing software.  However, I need to see all of the PDF pages within the word document.

I have tried converting PDFs into Word first as well, but the problem here is that the conversion distorts the data too much.

Any further suggestions?

xakem:  Thanks, but no I don't mean copying contents (which I am aware of how to do).  The PDF I am trying to insert is about 80 pages long, and cut and pasting would simply be too time-consuming.

I have the same issue.. I have a 10 page PDF document that i want to embed into my MS Word document.

I just to be able to click a Icon (pdf icon would be nice) then the pdf document opens.

I've tried Insert -> Object, then link as Icon

But it always just grabs page 1 of the pdf and ignores the rest.

I want to be able to click a icon as if it were a hyperlink to open up the pdf.. Not hyperlink, to an external file, embed the file.
