GAL Unable to Update for Certain users

I recently added another profile to the network. Everybody was able to see the new account in the GAL except for 2 users. I only saw the new acct when de-selecting cached mode from those 2 users outlook. When I selected cached mode, the new account was gone and the old account showed up. 10 users fine, 2 users with this issue. Tried to update the address through the manual way,an error shows up 0x8004010f The operation failed. An object cannot be found. I've looked in the kb's through microsoft/technet and no luck. This is quite unusual. If the old account is hidden, why would it be looking for the old account?
Matter at hand is that only 2 users cannot update and come up with that error.
Suggestions?

Trying to see if there is a solution without rebuilding. Im not wanting to rebuild as yet...but will probably have to if another work-around is not available shortly.
