Switches / Firewalls options ?
Hello Gurus,
What are the best switches on the market ?
I would like to buy for my customer 4 switches for 4 subnets network.
I would like the switches to be able to be programmed / managed for security (allowing routing etc...)
thanks

Cisco are the best, however also the most expensive.
if you dont use cisco (and if you can do, they are the leading experts by a good margin) then use HP who also do very good switchs and are a bit cheaper

From configuration and management point of view, I would rate fortigate as easiest to configure, specially when you are under pressure to open certain type of access to senior management. You can fo this on the fly using the GUI interface of fortigate.
