Guys,
Im trying to workout the space my deleted item retention setting is using up on Exchange 2003 (server 2003).
I get a total result for all stores of 38635825, now i cant find anywhere what this is measured in, is it kilobytes and is it the same for a sizing counters?

Thing is ive just found out you can add a deleted items column to the ESM, displyaing the size of the deleted items retention for each mailbox and it must be that and not the total size of the deleted items cos for some mailboxes the figure is bigger than the mailbox size.
This displays it in KB and runs into the millions just on one store, which to be fair is the biggest...so im thinking that other figure is probably in KB as i think from that screenshot alone your talking 20 GB.
