See how many maximum connections do you have set. You can check this by going to Preferences &gt;&nbsp;Transfer. See the numbers you have and set it to a reasonable one. Not unlimited or 15,000. 250 is a reasonable number.<br />

Also, you may even try some other client like uTorrent (Windows) or Transmission (Mac)

I've been using Azuerues, now called Vuze (A torrent, file sharing program.), for many years nowand every once in awhile it would kill my internet connection, forcing me to restart the computer to get my connection working again. Well, now it's disabling my connection every few hours. According to the wiki for the program my router (Linksys WRTG54GS.) has problems with lots of connections. I lowered the connections and it didn't work. I switched from UpnP to port forwarding and it still didn't work. Any help on this matter would be greatly appreciated.<br />
