Assembly Version change does not update dll
I am working on a VB.NET dll (VS 2008) and have changed the Assembly version and file version from 1.0.1.0 to 1.0.2.0. After I compile it when I right click properties in the windows explorer it reports
Assembly version 1.0.1.0
File version 1.0.2.0
Product Version 1.0.2.0
Why is the assembly version not updated correctly?
I have checked the assemblyinfo file and this contains:
<Assembly: AssemblyVersion("1.0.2.0") >
<Assembly: AssemblyFileVersion("1.0.2 .0")>
Thanks
