I have a tape already setup by the vendor as daily backUp. How can I format ar modify the configuration of the media?
I am using Syman tic for Back Up and I want to format or use the media to overwrite but I cannot because it is setup already as daily with overwrite is not allowed.
How can I change the configured tape? Note: I delete the previous job which was made by the vendor.

Is there a tape in the drive when you do this?

It is Inside the drive.

That will erase the data on the media and reset it for backup.
I assume your old media is set up for Overwrite allowed
