Compatibility between CA ArcServe agents (12) and server (11.5)

My question is simple : is an ArcServe Backup agent (for Sharepoint) v. 12 compatible with an ArcServe Backup server v. 11.5.
Subsidiary question : can I use Arcserve Backup agent for Sharepoint v. 12 to backup a Sharepoint server 2003.

Hello,
I saw on a different question that CA Arcserve 11.5 supports only Sharepoint services 2.0 and Sharepoint portal 2003.
Is it still true with SP4 of r11.5 ? I'm trying to install a Sharepoint agent 11.5 for a wss 3.0 server, and it doesn't work.
