Hi - I have a database that I'm using to model an approval process. Its been requested that when approving a document the user should have to re-enter their password - to confirm it *really* is them - and not just a passing idiot. Leaving aside the logic behind this and the likelihood of it actually happening ... can it be done ?<br />
I know it's possible to use @Prompt to display a password entry box but that's just to get a password - it's not authenticating it against the users ID file is it ? I want something kind of like the Notes client does when you try to change some preferences or request a name change etc - it makes you specify your passowrd again ..<br />

Lotus Software produced the Lotus 1-2-3 spreadsheet program, and later developed Lotus Notes, a groupware and email system.
