I have read that is not possible to do attachment filtering with exchange 2007 in a single server deployment scenario (all roles in one server). Is this true? Do i need an edge transport role in a dmz?. If this is true, i would like to have some link supporting this fact.<br />

Before i read about this issue i tried to activate this option in my single server, and i failed. In this link(<a href="http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/aa997139(EXCHG.80).aspx" rel="ugc">http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/aa997139(EXCHG.80).aspx</a>) i can see that some of the agents required can be also installed in a hub transport role, this is why i am a little confused.<br />

Seems incredible to me if t can't be done on a single server, not all of us can afford two servers for mail.<br />
