Hello Everyone,

We have a physically remote Windows 2003 Server machine that we need to connect via VPN to our main office, which is behind a Cisco PIX 501 firewall. We would like the remote 2k3 machine to be able to behave as if it were on our office network, ie authenticate to the Active Directory, access and provide access to shares, etc. It is critical that the VPN solution automatically start and connect when Windows starts.

What is the best way to go about achieving this? If it involves anything other than the Cisco VPN client, I will probably need step-by-step instructions, as I have not implemented other solutions such as IPSec before. Thanks for your help!

Best Regards,
Martin Schultz
