Need to add HP Standard TCP/IP Port
does anyone know how to just add the HP Standard TCP/IP Port? I do not want to install all the HP software, just the port.

No, I have the Standard TCP/IP Port listed as an option when I am installing printers, I need the

You can use the Standard TCP/IP Port.

Thank you, but this is not what I am looking for. I do not need a work around. I am migrating a print server, and 30+ of the printers are failing due to no HP port. I need to install the port so the legacy printers will work.

No answer to question, will have to find work around
Any luck with this? I am looking for the exact same thing. Would be nice if HP just supplied the inf instead of having to install this darn wizard and then manually installing a printer to get it to work. Even better if they stopped using the "HP standard TCP/IP port" that doesn't help me anyway.

No, sorry :(
I had to go in and convert every HP to a regular port. I still did not fix my printmig issue either.

Interrestingly, even after making this port type available by installing one printer manually, I still cannot seem to export/import all the printers using the "HP standard TCP/IP Port", so I guess I'll have to manually change all the ports to use the non-HP "Standard TCP/IP Port" as you have.
