Help with PKI on SCM 2007
Hello everyone.
I'm trying to install a System Configuration Manager server in Native mode, but I'm getting stuck with the PKI or Certificate.
I applied a certificate from my owm CA, but when I run the installer, it asks for a cert. When I select the Browse button to find it, there is nothing there.
I can't find some info on the Cert I'm looking for.
Help would be appreciated.
Thanks.

If you open up the Certificates snapin, can you find the certificate? If so, open it up and check the validity period and then the details tab look for Extended Key Usage to make sure Server Authentication is one of the valid usages listed there. If the correct EKU is not listed then it will not show up when polled for.

Thanks Paranormastic, but there is no Certificate installed. I have a CA on my network. Do I generate my own, and if so - is this a server Certifictae or a web based certificate?
Thanks.
