I have just upgraded my iPhone to firmware 2.0. During an attempt to restore backup data, an error message stated that the backup is corrupt and hence was unable to proceed further. I had an older backup on a previous computer which i managed to use but in the process i have lost numerous contacts and photos that have been taken recently. Therefore...
1. Is there any way i can repair the corrupt backup data file?
2. Or to determine which specific file/data is corrupt since there are numerous files located in the Mobilesync/backup directory? All i need is a way to ID the file that contains the photos and retrieve the photos from it somehow.
3. or if the individual backup photo file can be identified, to mix it into the older backup file hoping that it can restore properly?
