We have Symantec Endpoint Protection v11.0.2010.25 and ever since we upgraded to SEP from Symantec AntiVirus v9, our scheduled scans have not been behaving properly. We only have one scheduled scan set for our clients, and that is to run on Friday evenings at 8pm. However, Symantec still runs a scheduled scan on some of the client PCs at incorrect times. For example, one ran this morning at 5am, one at 5:30 am, 6 am, 7am and 8am. Each of these scans ran on a different PC. All of our clients have the most current and up to date definitions and policies. I have run the SymRmvScan utility and manually looked through the registry and was not able to locate any settings that pertained to legacy scheduled scans. Therefore, I have no idea why these random virus scans are taking place. Any ideas??
