Intertel Phone Help

Hey guys, my company currently has about 20 Intertel Axxess phones and I am the network admin. We run the intertel DB studio from our server to maintain the phones. I've become pretty familiar with the system, but the one thing I haven't been able to figure out so far was is how to associate the extensions we have with their actual outside phone number.  I can't seem to find it on the system.  Any help is appreciated.

Thanks

I'm taking a guess on your Inter-tel revision, but all of the systems work on the same principal - there is a table to associate your DID's to your Extensions.

CALLED NUMBER ROUTING
If the DID or DNIS service is provided the calls can be routed to extensions or groups based on the called
number received. A table of 100 entries is provided in the DID/DNIS Table programming option. Each
entry can be programmed to ring a group or extension. Courtesy Service or Auto Attendant can also be
programmed for each number. If the received number does not match an entry in the list the call is
presented to the group or extension programmed for the T1 line, or the PRI interface, in the Incoming
Ringing programming. This is Group 1 in default.
" From the programming extension, press the PROGRAM key.
" Press the Scroll Down key (ÀÔ) until System Programming is displayed.
" Select System Programming.
" Enter the System Programming Password and select Lines.
" Press the Scroll Down key (ÀÔ) until DID / DNIS Table is displayed.
" Select DID / DNIS Table.
" Select an Index Number (001 - 100).
" Enter the caller telephone number.
" Press Confirm.
" Enter the name to be associated with the number.
" Press Confirm.
" Select the option Day Mode, Night Mode or Day and Night Mode.
" Select the required option of Extension, Group, Auto-Attendant or Courtesy Service.

I'm actually not trying to setup any new numbers, we have a few extensions that haven't been used in some time.  We would like to retrieve the actual phone numbers of those extensions.  Caller ID isn't an option, as it just displays our main number.  Thanks
DNIS is the dialed number by the caller.  So, if they dial 555-555-1111, your telling your phone system that calls coming in on that DNIS (or that DID (Direct Inward Dial)) to route that call to an internal extension.  So, if you have a PRI, let's say you have a block of numbers, 555-555-1110 thru 555-555-1120, but you want a particular known number like 555-555-1111 to route to internal extension 134, this is the table where you do that match.

Now, if you aren't sure of all of your existing DID's that are associated with you PRI or analog(s) circuits, please let me know.
The table you are looking for is Call routing tables found in System> Trunk-Related Information, that will show you all of you DID numbers and where they are going to ring.
Yes, that's exactly what I figured, but there was nothing in the call routing tables.  I'm guessing the direct dial numbers were never added to the system....
