We have quite a few users that have these printers so its quite a hassle to change them all over. Does anyone know of a quick fix without changing the printers?<br />

Well, just a suggestion, but you might want to try it on one machine first to see if that resolves the problem anyway...<br />

When a laptop is connected to the domain, word 2007 opens fine, but when disconnected from the domain it trys to find the default printer which isnt accessible as this is on the server of the domain. Does anyone know how to stop word looking for the default printer?<br />

Microsoft Word is a commercial document editing program that is part of the Microsoft Office suite.
