Any ideas on how to QOS Internet Radio? (to "discourage" use)
Yes I know. Setting a corporate policy is better than trying to set up an IT-related solution like this... however the problem with that is detecting it, and then actaully gettnig disciplining done.
The people in charge dont' see the harm in spanking our internet connection, and the people who use it don't want to give it up.
So my solution? Make it sound like it's coming from a tin can, after it finishes buffering 30 seconds for a 10 second chunk of music... I wanna knock them down to about 10 kbps.
I'm willing to set up a proxy, or I'm willing to configure our existing Cisco ASA 5510 firewall. Or anything else. Plannign on putting a proxy in anyways for security, but I figure this can be another reason for me to move it up on my priority list.
