What does Error Code 0F00:0244 mean when running onboard hard drive diags?
This system was running extremely slowly so I booted to the onboard diagnostics and ran diags on the hard drive. I received Error Code 0F00:0244. I then stopped to play it safe. Does this mean -
1. The drive has physically failed and needs to be replaced? If yes, what do you think the chances are of being able to ghost the original drive onto a new one and have everything work?
2. Running chkdsk or some other utility might be able to fix things and we can keep using the same drive?
Thank you.
