This system was running extremely slowly so I booted to the onboard diagnostics and ran diags on the hard drive. &nbsp;I received Error Code &nbsp;0F00:0244. &nbsp;I then stopped to play it safe. &nbsp;Does this mean -<br />

1. The drive has physically failed and needs to be replaced? &nbsp;If yes, what do you think the chances are of being able to ghost the original drive onto a new one and have everything work?<br />
<br />
2. Running chkdsk or some other utility might be able to fix things and we can keep using the same drive?<br />

What does Error Code  0F00:0244 mean when running onboard hard drive diags?

Storage devices include any device used for storing and retrieving digital information.
