Microsoft Office Outlook can't start Microsoft Office Infopath

When Microsoft Outlook is opened an error message appears saying:-

"Microsoft Office Outlook can't start Microsoft Office Infopath. Microsoft Office Outlook cannot install the necessary files due to Windows Installer error 1605. This action is only valid for products that are currently installed."

What does this mean and how do i fix it?

First I would do a repair on Office by going into Control panel -> Add and Remove Programs -> Microsoft Office.

Once that is done make sure you can open InfoPath on its own.

One question. Do you have Office Enterprise which includes InfoPath?

This is not a complete response.  If InfoPath is installed, even the Trial, and expires or is removed, Outlook does not always know to quit looking for it on launch.  Without a path to the .msi file the Outlook repair cannot succeed.  We have seen this happen on more than one occasion.  Find the installation media or sharepoint that InfoPAth was installed from -or- download a trial that you can refer to for the Outlook repair.
I've found a resolution to the issue at hand.

This was the most specific fix i have seen for this issue.
I tried looking for this registry key for Info Path and could not find it.  Maybe because I am running Win 7?  Office 2007 version is small business so there is no Info Path installed. I did have enterprise version installed at one point but uninstalled it with Revo uninstaller which took about 2 hours.

This problem remains.
