"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

If you set up the SBS properly and clients use connectcomputer you likely don't need to be there it automates so much.
-joins the PC to the domain
-during the process shows a list of available computer names and automatically changes it if that was set by you
-sets the user as a local admin (SBS requirement)
-grants them permission to access by RWW , if you have configured they and the server for them
-installs any apps you have allocated by the server
-configures Outlook
-adds custom SBS shortcuts to Internet Explorer
-allows you to automatically migrate an existing local profile
-adds active sync and VPN client if you have enabled the option on the SBS
-does a post set up clean up
-and more

ps- for the above to work, you first have to run the add user and configure client computer wizards on the SBS in Server Management Console
If you are not familiar with the custom SBS tools the following is a good outline:

For the record not using the connectcomputer wizard will "break" many of the SBS services.

Thanks ants-servertech, good luck with it.

I am always curious though, why the 'B' grade. A 'B' grade implies the answer is not complete. Was there more information I can help you with, or perhaps something I left out?
