Wireless Modem and Cell Provider for Acer Aspire One Mini Notebook running Linpus Linux
Anybody knows which mobile company provides the wireless modem for Acer Aspire One running Linpus Linux? I tried Verizon, but they only offer for Windows XP, Vista or Mac, nothing for Linux.
Thanks in advance.

Hello,
Have you checked the Acer website here?

Pay careful atention to the type of the machine you own. And if you land on the driver page for your model and you see more types of WiFi cards types there, just take a screw driver and open the small compartment door that covers the miniPCI WiFi card. You should be able to idenitfy which one is it by looking on the symbols right next to each compartment door on the back of your laptop.
Once you find, it you'll be able to see who made that card and the model. I would recommend doing this with the laptop turned off, and with the power cord and the battery completely removed.
Please let me know...

I don't have the WiFi card for modem, that's why I am asking if you know any model that is compatible with subscriptions that can be used on the road like Cell Phone connection? Thanks.

Keep checking that link, I guess. Apparently ''soon'' means something different to them than to others, since it's said that same thing for weeks now.
