Problems with Cleaning Media in Backup Exec 12 / Quantum Superloader 3
I am getting this error message;
"Final error: 0xe0008234 - Library Error - attempt to clean a drive in a library with expired or bad cleaning media."
I have replaced the media tapes with brand new ones and i am still having problems. Is there anything else that could be the cause of this problem, since the tapes are new?

Im sorry, i meant to say i replaced the cleaning tapes with brand new cleaning tapes. The cleaning tapes are also loaded into the cleaning slots, and are recognized by backup exec 12.
When i run a normal "Clean" command, it will churn through and get to about 91% then error out. That is where im stuck at trying to figure out what is wrong.

Thanks a lot.
Sounds like you replaced the backup tapes? Did you replace the Cleaning tape?
This error relates to the tape in the slot designated for the cleaning cartridge. By any chance do you have a backup tape in the slot where the cleaning tape should go?
