Im sorry, i meant to say i replaced the cleaning tapes with brand new cleaning tapes. &nbsp;The cleaning tapes are also loaded into the cleaning slots, and are recognized by backup exec 12. &nbsp;<br />

When i run a normal &quot;Clean&quot; command, it will churn through and get to about 91% then error out. &nbsp;That is where im stuck at trying to figure out what is wrong. &nbsp;

I am getting this error message;

"Final error: 0xe0008234 - Library Error - attempt to clean a drive in a library with expired or bad cleaning media."

I have replaced the media tapes with brand new ones and i am still having problems.  Is there anything else that could be the cause of this problem, since the tapes are new?



Problems with Cleaning Media in Backup Exec 12 / Quantum Superloader 3
