I'm trying to find out a way to set my console windows in Fedora Core 9 up the way I want them in terms of size and position (and perhaps directory pointing to), and somehow record my actions or my computer's present state in such a way that later on I can log in and perhaps type some sort of command that will open all the windows and put them where they were when I made said command.

Not sure if this is possible but it'd be mighty convenient :)
