unix rights on oracle audit trail file

olatundun asked
Last Modified: 2013-12-19
i recently changed the audit file destination of my oracle database to another directory on unix and granted full rights to the directory but i noticed that anytime oracle writes an audit file to that directory,i can not access(read) the file as it has does not replicate the file permission on the directory on which it is stored. to read the file the system administrator has to grant me read permision.
Is there a way i can have a permanent read right on the files as they are written into the directory by oracle
