Hello, This question is rather unique.
We have an Exchange server where we only have journaling mailboxes on. We do this because of the size of our centralized envrionment; we don't want the extra load on our production servers.
We have noticed that although Online maintenance runs, and we get event 1221 errors reclaiming some space, the message store continues to grow day after day.
This brings up the questions:
1. In a busy message store, is the Online maintenance hindered in its ability to free up all the white space that it could if it were a dormant message store?
2. Does fragmentation of the message store hinder the reclaiming of white space as well?
