What is the Sis Utility? Do I need it and how can I get it out of my system tray?

As far as i know, Sis is a some brand/model of display card...While installing the driver of your display adapter, this SIS Utility resides there...
Could you tell me what is your display adapter and i wonder the brand of sound card also...

1) Click Start/Control Panel/ Taskbar and Start Menu.
2) Click the "Customize" button at the bottom
3) In the list that appears , check to see if the icons you
are looking for are selected as "Hide when Inactive"
or "Always Hide"
4)If you click on an item in the list to highlight it
you will get a drop down box that will enable you
to change its status
