OK Here's my Setup:

Microsoft Small Business Server 2003 SR1 with latest service pack.
1 Network Card
DHCP Enabled for IP Range 192.168.0.2 - 192.168.0.254 , Subnet 255.255.255.0

Client
MS Vista with SP1 Installed

I have run the Routing and Remote Access Wizard from the SBS and all went fine. (It used the DHCP for IP address allocation of VPN clients)

I downloaded the created package on to the Vista PC and VPN connects successfully to the server and I can see all the server resources and ping the server.

It resolves the DNS name fine from the VPN client (e.g if I ping phoneman it replies with request timed out on phoneman.decillion.local)

However it times out on each request to a PC on the LAN network.

I've tried to access by IP , but seeing as it times out thwn I ping a PC on the LAN it doesn't access the Network.

I've struggled now for more than a week with this problem and I'm pulling out my hair! We have a simular setup with another company's server and from the Vista client I can successfully connect to that server via VPN and access Pc's on their network.

I've compared all the routing and remote access settings between the servers and cannot find any differences in the setup.

The only thing I can think of that it might be is a security policy on the Server, but I cannot find out where !

Please someone take me out of my misery :) !

Thanks
