Entourage 2008 users cannot connect to Exchange 2007 SP1 CAS Server

Hello All.
First of all - thank you in advance - this is the place I go when I am stumped.
Here is our setup:
2 Sites
NY and LA
NY:
1 Exchange 2007 Sp1 CAS/HUB server on Windows 2008 with GoDaddy multidomain certificate installed.
1 Exchange 2007 Sp1 Mailbox Server on Windows 2003R2.
Both above are X64 - naturally.

LA:
1 Exchange 2003 Sp2 - Frontend with GoDaddy Cert
1 Exchange 2003 Sp2 - Backend

The LA site for the moment is not important to this question.

We have a FEW users that utilize the latest Entourage 2008 to connect  to Exchange 2007 in NY.
When in the office, the users Entourage account must be pointed to the mailbox server without SSL for connectivity.  It works.  

When outside of the office we try to setup entourage to come in via the EXCHANGE virtual directory on the CAS server as follows: email.domain.com/exchange - using SSL.  We have tried entering the server name in many variations:  email.domain.com/exchange/emailuser@domain.com or email.domain.com/exchange or simply email.domain.com.  NONE work......

The EXCHANGE Virtual Directory on the CAS server has Basic Authentication ONLY.
The same virtual directory on the Mailbox server has Basic and Integrated Authentication.

WEBDAV is installed on both servers.

Outlook - OWA and Outlook Anyhwere work perfectly..
Ironically - even the exchange connector on the iPhone works fine with autodiscover, etc.

Entourage will not CONNECT - period.
We have tried everything and thus came here for a final try.

Does anyone have any advice.  I have googled this to death...and tried every fix out there.  I am hoping that someone out there has this scenario and can answer the question as soon as possible.
