I'm working with a single server and 15 workstations, the admin/users are not technically savvy, so the built in auditing in Windows 2003 Server is way too much information for them. They are simply looking for a software that reports who deletes/moves/modifies files on the server in plain english....

I have found a couple of softwares but both seemed very pricey, over $1000 and $700 respectively... we were hoping to find something closer to the $300 range for such a small network... has anyone used anything that they would recommed that doesn't cost and arm and a leg?

Those were not really exactly what we were looking for... all we need is simple Windows File System Auditing... we opted to go with the $700 software from http://www.scriptlogic.com
