I have a column which is called "GPname which already has some data in it.

It is a varchar, Some of it has '-' in it. For eg: H-C corporation.
I need to make it as HC corporation

Please suggest the query for the table "corporations". Database is Oracle 10.0.

See if this helps:
(uses replace - http://www.techonthenet.com/oracle/functions/replace.php)
UPDATE corporations
SET GPname = Replace(GPname, '-', '')
