vpn any connect

when ever i connect through vpn any connect to my client my local resources stop working like i am not able to get access for any of my servers my network drives and my outlook...is there any way i can fix that...

Sounds like a split-tunneling setting.  If I am correct, some network architects do that by design to enhance the security of their protected network.  By limiting your local connectivity they limit the risks to the corporate network that you are accessing.  One thing you might notice is that if you browse the web, your actually going out your VPN public interface and not that of your local, albeit more efficient interface.

I'd need to know more about the definition of your VPN, but if you enable split-tunneling you should be able to access your local resources.

we have cisco asa5000 router and we have isa 2006 as well and then there is lan....how can i enable split tunneling from cisco router

Here is an example of how you can enable split tunnelling on the asa5500.  May be very similar / same as the asa 5000.
