Looking for Google Calendar like page element. (eiher DHTML, AJAX, etc)

Hi there,

I need to develop a scheduling  / calendar type application which is very different, but in so many ways similar to Google Calendar.

The development of the project is not the big issue for me; but rather where I would find a DHTML/AJAX (or whatever) control  render the data and allow for drag and drop updates. (The drag and drop updates are a nice to have) Rendering the data is most important!

So why not use Google Calendar API ? Well.. the calendar runs down the page in days.. and accross the page in "time slots" or "Class Periods" like you would get in a school.

Anyone ever come accross such a thing ?
