Setup an FTP account different from the rest

I would like to setup an FTP on my Xserve (running 10.5.5) that has different access privileges than the rest.  I have it setup in server admin so everyone only has access to their home directory but I want one person to have access to a different directory - like an admin.

If you are planning to run a FTP server on a Mac I would highly suggest you look at PureFTPd Manager.  It's a freeware cocoa front end to the free Pure FTPd service that can be installed on OS X Server.  Between the features of the ftp server and the ease of use of the GUI front end of the manager it hands down is better than what Apple ships.

Other good FTP servers are also; CrushFTP (freeware) and Rumpus (Commercial but very, very good)

OS X Server's ftp is a good ftp server but lacks some of the features that these other 3 (inc. PureFTPd Manager) have, particularly the 'all-in-one approach' to user management.

Sorry!
