VMWare Fusion froze at Windows boot screen

Hello
Running a Macbook Air with VMWare Fusion.  My notebook ran out of power and was not shut down properly.  After charging it up, Leopard booted okay but, VMWare Fusion's Windows is frozen at the XP boot up screen.  I've tried to restart and suspend the VM but, nothing see to change the froze screen.
Any ideas to recommmend?

Choose "power off" from the VIrtual Machine menu.
