How to configure email alert to Administrator when a mailbox size exceeds it's limit.

Hi,

I Want to configure automatic alerts to my Exchange user's when their mailbox size reaches to it's limit. I need to receive an alert when ever a user's mailbox get's full. Generally the user's get the alert but in this case i want administrator to get the alert for all user's so that he can take appropriate action further.

Pls advise.

No such function in Exchange 2003 as far as I know, although I am not sure if such function is provided in Exchagne 2007 (or SBS2008). Your best bet is ISA server but I think it only monitors services but not user mailbox.

A closer approach is to run the Performance or Monitor Reporting tools everyday and spot it yourself. By the way, the offending user will surely call for help when his/her mailbox is full.

Thank You for your reply. After lots of googling i came to conclusion that there is no such option available.
