How do I make my LG Flatron L1953TQ display properly?

The problem normally occurs when opening a website.  The text on the page overlaps other text. When view the same website on different monitors it displays fine, so I have ruled out it being a website proble.

You mean different monitors attached to the same machine running the same software?

Not the same machine, but accessing the site from all other machines around me.

The browser is the key, more than the monitor. Try connecting another monitor to the 1st machine.

You could also try changing the resolution (Control Panel / Display (Properties) / Settings), but It will probably not help.

Another test you could make if you have Firefox installed or are allowed to install it (It takes seconds). Install the Firefox IE Tab extension from http://ietab.mozdev.org/
It will allow you to load   a page rendered by the IE engine as a tab under Firefox, so you can see the difference (Works with Flock and SeaMonkey too).
