Insert or update data in Active Directory through openquery sql satatments

Since I already have a linked server configured able to talk to my AD and retrieve data, can I also insert or update data in my AD? How? Could you post a example? Is there another way?

no. the provider does not support that.

Let me understand.
Told you me that the Microsoft AD does not support insert or update by this way (Transact-SQL
Statments)? Is that?
If was that, ok than.

yes, correct. you cannot insert/update AD from SQL directly.
