Hi all

I don't know how to setup VPN with my cisco pix 515e.
We have a PPPoE (DSL) internet connection, and I think I need to have to use IPSEC instead of PPTP.

Can someone show me the step by step (for dummy) instruction on how to do that ?  Thanks.

You can do a Peer to peer vpn where the Pix would connect to another firewall for connectivity between the 2 networks.   You can also setup the pix to allow a vpn client to access your network.

Depending on what you want, cisco already has the step by steps to do this at:
http://www.cisco.com/en/US/products/hw/vpndevc/ps2030/products_configuration_example09186a0080094761.shtml
and/or
http://www.cisco.com/en/US/tech/tk583/tk372/technologies_configuration_example09186a0080884c2f.shtml

All the examples are at:
