Help choosing a DC jack for a Lenovo laptop

I have a Lenovo 3000 c200 laptop where the DC jack has been damaged and needs replacing.  Looking around i have managed to find a new one but seems to very very expensive, but then i also found a DC jack for a Lenovo x61 that seems to look the same and is considerably cheaper but was wondering whether anybody had any input on whether the X61 jack will work on the Lenovo 3000?  I have provided pictures of the 2 for comparison.

Make sure the terminators are same, then go ahead to buy and install.

What do you mean by terminators?  The connections on either side?

Yes, the connectors at both ends.

Thanks Punky, managed to find another photo a little more close up and found that there was 6 holes instead of the 5 on the connector i need, so decided to be safe and go for the correct; albeit more expensive socket.

Thanks for points and grade. I do that all the time, even home make ones as well .... but dont do home make if you never done that :o)
