Error 0xc0202055: Data Flow Task: The column delimiter for column "e-mail" was not found.

Hello I am trying to import an flatfile, with the import export wizard, and I get the following error message:

Error 0xc0202055: Data Flow Task: The column delimiter for column "e-mail" was not found.

can anyone help?

attach here the flatfile to try to help! and the ssis package. (rename files to txt)

Well, there must be a line in your file that do not have the {cr}{lf} delimiter in your columns.

Its important to say that its very weird to use that as a column delimiter, that combination is commonly used as a row delimiter... verify your settings.

Give us your column and your row delimiters

Alright Guys

I have added the 1st 5 records of the CSV file, for you to figure out what is wrong with the importation to SQL Server, the 1st line are the column names....

Hello

I see from the screenshot you sent that you used the UNION ALL task, and apart from that, in the e-mail column you have 0, just before the email address.

Also the " symbol is appearing in records which needs to eliminated.

And I keep getting the following erorr message:

Fixed it - had to convert the file to an excel spreadsheet and import it, which worked fine with ease
