mismatched version of exoledb.dll  installed by an update. how to change

Exchange 2003 OWA crashes store.exe with Event id: 1000

I am getting this same error exactly. How did you change file manually and with which verson of the exoledb.dll?

Hi There

The current version of exoledb.dll is 6.5.7653.38 and this was supplied to me by Microsoft support who told me it was the latest version of this file.

The initial problem was caused by hotfix KB950159 not being properly applied - it did not correctly update exoledb.dll and exosal.dll.

MS sent me the latets version of these files, we manually replaced them and the problem was resolved.
