SBS2003, Vista, ConnectComputer and missing local user accounts

Hi,

I'm not sure if this is an issue with SBS2003, Vista or a bit of both,
probably a bit both. If anyone could help I'd be very grateful.

I'm trying to add a machine with Vista Ultimate to a new SBS2003 domain.
When i run the ConnectComputer wizard, it can't see any of the existing local
accounts - the dropdown boxes next to the domain accounts I want to add are
blank.

Anyone got any idea what's wrong and how I can fix it?

Thanks

Karl

Hi Ibrahim,

Thanks for that. It looks like it addresses exactly the issue I have. I'm going to wait until close of play and then install the update. In the meantime I'm going to read the accompanyhing Word doc and google to see what problems other people have had with the patch. Given Microsoft's record at updating SBS2003, I'm sure it probably breaks something (ISA, I wouldn't be surprised).

Thanks again, that looks perfect.

Best regards

Karl
