vmware update manager client cannot accept requests now because virtualcenter server cannot be reached
I am trying to enable the VMware Update Manager Client 1.0u2 1.0.0.63972
When I click on the Enabled checkbox I get an error message
"The VMware Update Manager cannot accept requests now because VirtualCenter server cannot be reached, or the database cannot be reached, or it is in the process of stopping.
I am running VMware Infrastructure Client Version 2.5.0 Build 104215 with VirtualCenter Version 2.5.0 Build 104215

Hi,
Yes, I am able to access VirtualCenter via Web Access when typing in the IP address of the Virtual Center Server. I do however get a Certificate Popup Message twice. See attached Picture.

It is SQL....if you restart the SQL Server (SQLEXP_VIM) the problem goes away but only temporary. I have the same error message when I access the VirtualCenter thru Infrastruture client. When I log off it starts up again...
