Export dataset to excel using C# Windows Forms

Hello,
II need to export data returned from sql stored procedure to excel and also do some formatting changes, change the column header names, sheet names, merge some cells etc. Also, the records in excel should be spread across multiple sheets, based on a column in the dataset.
I tried implementation using VSTO but realized its not suitable.
Any direction provided will be greatly appreciated.

I think as your export to the excel will be customized, in that case you might need to do some extra coding for customization.
