Why when swf file is tested in Flash is faster than it appears on my website?
Hi,
I have a movie clip and when tested in Macromedia Flash, the result is perfect. However, when I embed the swf file in a simple html page and run it from my localhost, the movie clip slows down - and bdw, I have a preloader. Any logical reasons behind this? Is it possible to improve the performance?
I already set the jpeg compression to 40% which reduced the file to 680kb. I also have two images which are png and their file size was around 820kb each. Obviously I reduced their size in Flash.
Thanks for your help.
