I know, Iknow.... I shouldn't be paying for hotmail when google gives it away for free but too many of my clients and friends have it to abandon. Now that we got that  out of the way I'm wondering if that $20 bucks a year I fork over gives me any web space. I don't want a "facebook" thing. I want to be able to upload a website I designed and then with my name registrar reroute whatever the current URL is to the name I bought.

Does anybody know if my premium  Hotmail account gives me web space?

Hello jjc_mn,

You can 2 GB to store your emails, but you do not have free web space to upload files.

Hope this helps!

JJ,

The Premium account does not give you a place to host a website. You get double the email storage space as a free user, no advertisements attached to the bottom of your outgoing emails, the ability to synce with Outlook, etc., but no place for a website.  You could try Windows Live, they do offer a free basic "small business" website package. It's basic and you are limited to their web page editor (i.e. you cannot upload your own web pages), but it's worth a look. Cheers!
