When using Create PDF plugin in Access causes Access to crash

When user tries to Create PDF within Access 2007, Access crashes.  This is within Citrix.  User is using Abobe 8 Pro, Access 2007, Citrix Presentation Server 4.5.

To clarify, is the Adobe product installed on the Citrix server too, or is that a PDF printer object getting auto-created from the user's PC?

If I understand the situation, as a work around, you might try installing a simple and free PDF creation utility (such as Cute PDF) directly onto the Citrix server.  Then tell the user to print to this printer object from Access when using Citrix.  Not sure if that would meet your need, but we use it for most of our general PDF creation needs on Citrix with no problems so far.

Herrmannator,

Sorry for the confusion, yes, Adobe 8 Pro is on the Citrix server.

I don't have Adobe Pro on any of my citrix server so not sure why it would give that error, but I would give that work around a try as it only takes a minute to test.  Once you install CutePDF, users should be able to print their Access reports to the CutePDF printer object, if that would meet your need...and the advantage is everyone can use it for free (unless they really need the Adobe version for this task).
